Build a small and crisp folio of only your best work. Arrange it systematically using headlines. Don't just throw in all of your skills; keep an element of curiosity in there as well.
Draw.
A pen is mightier than a sword. The saying stays true after all these years. You need not necessarily draw in a sketchbook. Buy a tablet, download a virtual sketchbook, or any medium that allows you to draw freehand. I say this because when you draw, your mind is instructing your hands, whereas when you're on a computer, the keyboard commands are instructing your head.
Compete.
Everyone has a distinct style as an artist. If you compare yourself with others, you will lose your individuality. Instead, try competing with yourself. Be better than you were yesterday. Discover new things. Outperform yourself by renewing your commitment to better things. Make yourself a competitor.
